Squat to Row 2 Arm

Starting Position
  • Face cable machine feet straight ahead and shoulder width apart
  • Hold cables with arms fully extended at chest level

Movement
  • Squeeze your butt muscles and lower into a 3/4 squat
  • Stand and row by squeezing shoulder blades and pulling thumbs to armpits
  • Complete row by the time legs are fully extended

Coaching Tips
  • Do not round back, maintain draw in maneuver (stand tall, abs tight belly)
  • Ensure to push hips back and sit, not allowing knees to extend over toes
  • Keep heels on floor
  • If you do not have access to a cable machine, exercise may be performed with tubing anchored around a stable structure
  • You should feel your entire body working
  • Perform 2 - 3 sets of 8 - 10 repetitions
