Starting Position
- Face cable machine feet straight ahead and shoulder width apart
- Hold cables with arms fully extended at chest level
Movement
- Squeeze your butt muscles and lower into a 3/4 squat
- Stand and row by squeezing shoulder blades and pulling thumbs to armpits
- Complete row by the time legs are fully extended
Coaching Tips
- Do not round back, maintain draw in maneuver (stand tall, abs tight belly)
- Ensure to push hips back and sit, not allowing knees to extend over toes
- Keep heels on floor
- If you do not have access to a cable machine, exercise may be performed with tubing anchored around a stable structure
- You should feel your entire body working
- Perform 2 - 3 sets of 8 - 10 repetitions
